Conditional activation of γδ T cells selectively empowers the immune system to durably fight cancer
Engaging γδ T cells uniquely allows stimulation of both innate and adaptive immune responses, unleashing effective cancer cell killing. Our engager platform conditionally activates γδ T cells upon engager induced cross-linking with tumor cells resulting in the release of pro-inflammatory cytokines and cytotoxic vesicles to drive powerful tumor-specific lysis without causing high-grade cytokine release syndrome. Our next-generation platform is designed to additionally enhance the size and fitness of the patient γδ T cell pool and is expected to provide for a class of highly effective, durable and tolerable γδ T cell engagers for the treatment of patients with both solid and hematological malignancies.
